  • 06/20/2021 Lectio Divina

    Occasionally at First Church, Pastor James leads us in a contemplative reading of Scripture called a Lectio Divina. "Lectio Divina assumes that by entering deeply into the text of God’s Holy Word, God will be made known to us, speak to us, and direct our lives."   • 05/16/2021 Holy Spirit Story

    On Sunday, May 16 Pastor James invited Jamie to share a Holy Spirit story with the congregation via a Zoom interview. You can find the video of Jamie's story here.

  • 05/16/2021 Bob Newhart "Stop it" Video

  • 05/02/2021 Trinitarian Prayer

    We were led in a corporate time of prayer Sunday, May 2 using John Stott's Daily Trinitarian Prayer. Click the link for a printable version of the prayer. It can also be found in the book Basic Christian: The Inside Story of John Stott by Roger Steer.

  • 04/25/2021 Prayer FOR Racial Healing

  • 04/02/2021 Good Friday bedtime Prayer

    On Good Friday, Pastor James mentioned several bedtime prayers during his sermon. Here is one of the lesser known prayers. If you missed it, you can watch the Good Friday service here.
